Our review
Just enough light for enjoyable off roading with massive run times at a great price

Electron's Terra 2 twin headlight set has been a previous value winner and with a £10 price drop it’s still a good buy if you want an intro-level light. The two miniature heads come in a spot and flood format with two power levels. This makes matching what light there is to the conditions straightforward.

The spot picked out potential trouble far away enough to deal with it as long as we weren’t being too daft with our speed. Unlike many cheaper bike lights, output is steady throughout most of the run time rather than fading. Even at full chat on both lamps there’s more than enough power for most night rides so you’ll rarely see the low charge indicator.

Recharging is slow if you do run it down, so plan ahead. The small head units take up minimal bar space and while it can get in the way, the long battery lead does mean you can stick the battery pack wherever you want.
