The North Face Gulper review

TNF's Gulper is a nice, simple bag with just enough storage to keep things tidy without over complicating matters. A separate bladder pocket guards against leakage disasters, that special magnetic bite valve catch appears again on the two litre Nalgene bladder and the ubiquitous light tab, small zip pocket and bungee provide homes for everything you could need on a summer's day. Unfortunately, the increase in size over the Sailfin hasn't included an increase in venting and the rather large, flat footprint was sweaty and uncomfortable on hot days, and not particularly stable when heavily loaded.

Plain bag that does what it should. Shame about the lack of venting

A separate bladder pocket guards against leakage disasters, that special magnetic bite valve catch appears again on the two litre Nalgene bladder and the ubiquitous light tab, small zip pocket and bungee provide homes for everything you could need on a summer's day. Unfortunately, the increase in size over the Saifin hasn't included an increase in venting and the rather large, flat footprint was sweaty and uncomfortable on hot days, and not particularly stable when heavily loaded.
