Bicycle Design Book by Mike Burrows review£9.99

Sacred cows? Pah!

BikeRadar score4.5/5

The updated and revamped version of Mike Burrows’ 2000 Bicycle Design Book shows the self-styled ‘best bike designer in the world’ in sparkling form.

As ever, he’s controversial, opinionated, irreverent and if not the best, he’s certainly the single most influential bike designer of recent years.

This accessible book – in which he takes potshots at accepted truths which he sees as flawed – could well be the definitive modern book on bike design. Even if you don’t agree with everything he says, he’s never less than entertaining
