Mini review: Endura Laser gilet review£29.99

Foldable vest that's great for backpack use

BikeRadar score4/5

Endura's Laser gilet is another good quality, straightforward product from this Scotland-based company.

Lightweight and foldable down to pocket size, it has a few clever design touches. The rear has a very large mesh area, stopping you getting overly sweaty if you’re carrying a backpack.

And not only does it have reflective patches front and rear and reflective piping on the zip, it also has a small hanger loop for your LED light. If black’s not your thing, two brighter colours are also available.

Simon has been cycling for as long as he can remember, and more seriously since his time at university in the Dark Ages (the 1980s). This has taken in time trialling, duathlon and triathlon and he has toured extensively in Asia and Australasia, including riding solo 2900km from Cairns to Melbourne. He now mainly rides as a long-distance commuter and leisure/fitness rider. He has been testing bikes and working for Cycling Plus in various capacities for nearly 20 years.
