Armless doesn't mean defenceless as this quality Kona Windstopper XC vest proves.

It might have XC in the name but this chunky cut bodywarmer works well for sessions down the dirt track. The fabric is a surface-treated showerproof that blocks wind out. You'll be amazed how warm you'll be even with your arms out. It does build up sweat fairly fast because it's made from windproof cloth all round, but that means better protection when you're not riding.

The high set pockets stop stuff inside bouncing off your knees when pedalling and there's a handy key clip too. This is definitely one of our favourite winter warmers.
