Our review
A multi-use gilet that's very well put together. It's not for hot rides, though.

Like a new box of crayons, it's easy to fall for German manufacturer Vaude's bold and colourful range of bike clothing.

The Cordoba is a women's multi-purpose windproof gilet that ticks the bright and simple design criteria for a good-looking addition to your jerseys. It's much more substantial than many back-pocket ones, thanks to the full polyester material without the usual mesh. As such, it's not as well ventilated and won't be suited to warmer rides.

It's still quite lightweight and packs into its own pouch, which doubles as a waist pack with an elastic strap. There's also two concealed zip side-pockets, plastic pull-toggles and elastic cord hem, reflective piping and logos, and a vent at the upper back to let out some steam.

Quality overall is excellent, right down to the smooth-running zips.
