Slip your hand into the 401 gloves from 661 and the first thing you’ll notice is the soft, perforated synthetic Clarino palm. It’s nice and thin so your hand retains all the ‘feel’ you’ll require, and the perforations keep your palms sweat-free.
The fit is bang-on, with no nasty excess around the thumb making them really comfy. We’re also big fans of the minimal cuff with pull tab. There’s nothing to irritate your wrist or get in the way of sleeves or cuffs from your jersey or jacket. The four-way stretch upper is surprisingly durable and adds to the comfort.
