Cannondale LE Jersey review

Calling this top a jersey is a bit of an understatement. It's wind and water repellent on the front, sides and lower back and feels more like a jacket to wear. It's also surprisingly warm despite the thin material, thanks to the wind-blocking front.

Short sleeved jersey that thinks it's a jacket

Calling this top a jersey is a bit of an understatement. It's wind and water repellent on the front, sides and lower back and certainly feels more like a jacket to wear. It's also surprisingly warm despite the thin material, thanks to the excellent wind-blocking front. I wore it happily in light showers, and while it kept me comfortable, it didn't keep me completely dry.

The pink sections shed water but the stretchy panels aren't at all water resistant. However, the four way stretchy fabric found at the back, underarms and elbows is great for easier movement and breathability. The sleeves are on the short side so it's worth trying on for size first to make sure your arms fit within the articulated elbows. There's the usual Cannondale attention to the little things: a plethora of pockets, good reflective markings, silicon hem gripper and a storm flap under the two-way front zip.
