Great performance potential if you can cope with the bagginess

Cannondale has always made good shorts, and these enormously shaggy baggies hide a bunch of features. Critically for serious riders, the pre-shaped Fourteen40 pad is immediately comfortable and delicious for long rides. The mesh liner material wicks super fast and it can be popped in and out at will. Most mileage fiends will find the huge amount of flapping leg fabric distracting, particularly as it slaps top tubes and grabs seat QRs.

You can reduce saddle snagging by hoisting the billowing bollock area up using the webbing straps of the curious 'Yank This' cinch system. Just remember to loosen them when you stop or expect strange looks. The soft feel fabric is certainly durable and comfy, with the full mesh liner helping it wick away sweat fast. You also get separate zippered air conditioning for each testicle, a zipped fly plus zipped and key fob cargo pocket. Price is good for the performance.
