The Stealth is made of a medium weight, mostly polyester material with a stretch back panel and vented, stitched-in liner.
The cut is much shorter than most downhill shorts, meaning it can be worn for cross-country rides, although it's more suitable for the gnarly crew than the race whippet posse.
Velcro cinch waist straps allow you to lock the shorts in place above the hips, which is needed to stop the fairly loose-fitting crotch catching on the saddle or bunching up under your nether regions.
The zip closure has two of the best press-studs we’ve come across, with a double-click to lock them shut. The rubber detailing on the leg came off after a couple of washes but the rest of the short is holding up well after many more.
