The Lycra is very thin, cut well to give a good fit and comfortable even when riding all day long. The padded liner, although good quality, is placed quite a long way back though.
We found they were fine riding in an upright position, but leaning forward on steep climbs our nether regions shifted off the padded area. The lack of undercarriage padding does, however, make them comfy off the bike.
