Superb stitching, good shape pad and perfectly contoured cut

Scratching the upper reaches of the bib pricing stratosphere, the Raphas have an appealing, low key yet classic look, with an understated logo and a matt black finish.

Stitching is superb, and positioned out of irritations way. The pad is made by Nalini and, although it doesn't have the elasticity of the current trend of chamoises, it has a good shape with a narrow centre section, porous ventilation and a hardwearing feel. Mesh straps are more giving than many designs, so the medium felt spot on. The cut contours perfectly and an open back panel means loads of ventilation for the summer, plus there's a nifty coin pouch too.
