Santini Ice CX bib shorts review£69.99

Mid-range Lycra

BikeRadar score3/5

Santini make kit for some of the world’s best racers and the good news is a lot of that tech appears in these mid-price bibs.

The Gel Intech insert is pre moulded for the right depth and despite being impressively thin and flexible, the gel padding is long-ride friendly.

The logo silicon leg grippers look classy and work well. Plenty of depth up the front and back stops cold spots (though it makes them awkward to pee out of) and the mesh bib wicks well too.

The only issue we had was fit. The Lycra ‘POWER’ legs provide muscle compression so we’re not surprised they felt snug. But even our medium-sized testers found the bibs too short on the large sample size, so try before you buy.
