Nike Windfront Bib Extra review

Extra breathable, wind protection is a great feature if you suffer from windchill. Perfect for blocking out those horrid northerly and easterly winds, a windproof liner is an ideal way of adding a bit of lightweight protection.

Well made and a good function let down by the odd fit

Extra breathable wind protection is a great feature if you suffer from windchill. Perfect for blocking out those icy winter winds, a windproof liner is an ideal way of adding a bit of lightweight protection.

The Nike Windfront Bib very well made and the complete front, from bib to ankle, is sandwiched with a breathable wind blocking laminate. That laminate also dishes up a fair bit of protection from the rain. The only problem we had was in the fit.

The Large we tested came up too short in the leg yet was still baggy in the groin and loose around the ankle. It may just be us but always try before buying if you're tempted by a pair. They're also a bit noisy, in a crinkly way, and you certainly know the liner is present, unlike the Gore tights that pedal silently.
