The All Season Knicks sport high-quality flatlock seams – but the bright white contrast is a bit shouty and could be a love/hate feature. The panel design, however, is extremely good and these are well shaped and move easily with your legs to give an excellent fit.
The fabric is something called Vuelta – a name to look for that's synonymous with comfort and warmth on the bike. We’ve worn it a lot and it wicks well too when you start to heat up. The bib is well constructed, with a high back made from the same fabric as the rest of the knickers, and the straps are wide.
It’s a reassuring wear on cold days because it’s the equivalent of an extra layer and there’s no chance of chilly spots. The chamois has a seamless pad with lots of fl ex channels, which allow it to mould to your undercarriage and prevents bunching. It feels quite wide off the bike, but once in the saddle it’s not noticeable at all.
