Royal Racing SP 24/7 downhill pants review£69.99

Well worth the cash

BikeRadar score4.5/5

There aren't many manufacturers who can claim they design race pants specifically for mountain biking, but that’s exactly what Royal do with their SP 24/7 pair! The fit is great thanks to the combination of elasticated waistband and ratchet strap. There’s also a rear stretch panel, which helps tailor the fit and prevent the rear being too baggy and snagging on your saddle.

We’re big fans of the large zipped and vented pockets too, along with the additional padding around the knee and upper shin – it definitely makes a difference if you do take a dive. They’ve stood up to plenty of abuse so far and are well worth the reasonable pricetag.
