Well made Campagnolo compatible callipers

Twenty years ago Mavic had an entire SSC groupset to its name, and while the brakes were made by Modolo back then, the current model is produced in-house.

In the absence of a cable quick release mechanism they can only be recommended for use with Campagnolo Ergopower levers that have a built-in quick release. The triangulated arm that holds the cable is said to improve stiffness but the test riders didn't notice any improvement compared to the other dual pivot designs. The jury's also still out on whether the stainless steel leaf-spring movement actually reduces friction, but it will resist corrosion better than some and the black anodised arms are tough and attractive.
