The Radium is labelled under the grips with the words “cross country” but its shape and width makes it sit happily in the light trail-riding family.
Strength is added with differential layering of carbon material in the areas beneath the stem and brake clamps, while internal tapering of the carbon construction keeps it light and reduces trail buzz.
Crash resistance is improved by reinforcing the ends with internal alloy rings. With proven up- and backsweep angles (6°/9°), the bar proved comfortable for climbing and descending, with little noticeable flex. Weight is good too, at 198g.
