Funn Fatboy OS handlebar review£45.99

Aggressive triple butted bar

BikeRadar score4/5

Funn know all about serious strength, but the Fatboy is surprisingly trail-friendly. Its 710mm (28in) width gives ample control for the most ambitious moves and an even wider 750mm Full On version is available too.

With only a 5.5-degree upsweep it doesn’t raise you up like a shopper bike, and the eight-degree backsweep is a degree more aggressive than most bars.

The long, shallow rise section and triple butting just about keep your hands alive on long lift-assisted days too, making it our default loaner bar for anyone heading for the Alps. Respectable weight and price give it the edge on most of its opposition too.

He worked the other side of those windows from '89 while getting a degree in “describing broken things covered in mud" (archaeology). Dug historical holes in the ground through the early '90s, then became a pro bike tester in '97. Guy has ridden thousands of bikes and even more components the world over since then and can remember them all in vivid, haunting detail. Can't remember where the car keys are, though.
