DMR V8 pedals review£27.99

Classic value flats

BikeRadar score3.5/5

The parallelogram shape of the V8 prevents you catching the pedal on its end and standing on it; instead it rolls over and under your foot into the correct position.

The bearings are quite good quality and sealing isn’t too bad. The concave surface and pins offer plenty of grip in all conditions, but beware as they will make a mess of your shins should you slip a pedal. If you use them for commuting, they’ll eat any kind of flat soled work shoe for breakfast.

If you’re into flats and ride enthusiastically these are value performers. Replaceable pins are available in standard or extra long lengths, and the pedals come in a whole bunch of colours.
