Effective perineum-preserving time trial perch

The low-profile tuck on a time trial bike can make your undercarriage go numb, especially when you shift forwards onto the saddle nose to open up the hip angle and put the power down, and if you tilt the saddle slightly to alleviate this you can slide too far forward.

Prologo’s Nago Evo TTR answers both problems with a flat, supportive saddle nose and an anti-slip covering. Comfort isn’t up there with the unusual Rido but it’s good, and the narrower profile doesn’t brush your thighs so should improve pedalling efficiency. It’s 136mm wide, and the carbon fibre base and titanium rails keep weight down to 232g.
