San Marco Ponza Dirty saddle review£40.00

A comfy seat for gentle riding

BikeRadar score2/5

The Ponza Dirty mountain bike saddle has a flat profile but a slight upward tilt at the rear, and the wider-than-average nose is more comfortable than expected.

Annoyingly, the squarer-edged tip feels rather sharp on the backs of our legs and is starting to wear prematurely. We've also marked the shoulders of the saddle after foolishly leaning the bike against a brick wall.

Following one long, muddy ride, most of the graphics have worn off.

Despite all that, it rides better than it looks. We found it comfortable for doing lots of miles on the trail but the fact that it's not a hard wearing saddle put us off for long term mountain bike use.
