It might look seriously uncomfortable, but it isn’t

With a Cordura and Kevlar mix of materials on the main covering, there's little wonder why this thing has lasted a while but shows very little sign of wear.

And with the Vibram inserts at the rear, Selle Italia's Gel Flow system and self-modelling padding (it sounds like nonsense, but it really is comfy) it does an exceptionally good job of being kind on your arse for hours on end. But the rubber side sections catch and grip your shorts from time to time, and it always seems to be just when you really need to get off the saddle and shift your weight back sharpish that they snag.

It's easy to fix with a little SP90 silicone spray every other couple of rides, though. Aside from that little niggle, this is a nice bit of kit at a pretty good price, that weighs a respectable 297g. It all adds up to a performance saddle aimed at mountain biking but which ends up being a fantastic city/commuting saddle that's light, durable and affordable.
