Our review
Fantastic grip and performance that almost matches the best, but they’re cheaper than even the worst

Not many pedals perform better than Superstar’s Nanos, and the ones that do are usually much more expensive.

The 10 threaded pins sit in a near-square (105x100mm) platform that’s concave from front to back, though flat from side to side. They have the same shallow 17mm profile as the Vaults, but the alloy’s thicker and less twangy when you introduce it to a fast-moving rock as a result.

The narrower slots can pack with clay or mud, but there’s not enough pedal to hold onto any weight of it.

The colour wears off the anodised body, but the laser-etched logos stay perfect and all the sets we’ve been drenching/smacking/pedalling/crashing still spin true, thanks to smooth but taught sealing.

The Nano Techs are strong, dependable and very secure, and come in 15 colours for a bargain price – even the 70g Ti axles are only £40 more!
