3T has bolstered its range of colour-customised cockpit gear with new glow-in-the-dark options for low light visibility.
The Illumina range covers 3T’s Ergonova Ltd bars (US$425 / €345 / others TBC), carbon compact drops designed for maximum comfort; the Arx Ltd stem (US$335 / €270), an all-carbon affair 3T describes as “the connoisseur’s stem”; and the Ionic-25 Ltd seatpost (US$295 / €235), a full carbon monocoque with 3T’s exclusive DiffLock clamp. 3T says all three add up to less than 500g in total.
Bright white in daylight, the components turn luminous green when the sun goes down, so you might want to go easy on the bar tape. The ‘Custom Colors’ programme offers all three items with flashes of blue, orange, green, pink, light blue and yellow.
The non-luminous versions are black with the same coloured detailing, allowing you to create an envy-inducing colour scheme across your pride and joy.
