Anne Caroline Chausson returns to racing

Greatest ever female downhiller to ride tropical Megavalanche

Is Anne Caroline Chausson making a long-awaited return to racing?

Details are scant at this stage, but it looks like legendary downhiller Anne Caroline Chausson is back on a bike and preparing to take part in the Megavalanche race on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion.

This picture of the Frenchwoman with a Trek Remedy was posted on Marzocchi’s website this morning, with a caption informing us that she’ll be running a 55 RC3 WC Ti fork and Roco LO shock.

With a CV like hers – she was world champion 16 times, won seven UCI World Cup titles and got an Olympic gold medal in BMX – the other women competitors, and plenty of the men, had better watch out!
