Hundreds of visitors to BikeRadar Live experienced what it was like to ride on bikes from some of the top bike companies.

Road riders were free to hit the famous Donington race track, while mountain bike demo riders had a designated trail on which to put the off-road machines to the test.

Mountain bikes from some of the world’s best bike companies were available to ride including Scott’s Genius range of full suspension bikes, Giant’s top of the range hardtails, Norco’s trail bikes, and loads more from the likes of Raleigh, Santa Cruz, Pronghorn, Whyte, Ventana, Lapierre, KHS, Marin, Haro, Niner and Pace.

Hundreds of people test rode the race track on road bikes from Corratec, Ibis, Islabikes, KHS, Raleigh and Scott. Tandems and folding bikes were also available from Cannondale, Santos, Orbit, Brompton and Dahon.

Greg Clark, a happy demo rider said: “Demo rides were excellent. I assumed that the manufacturers would only put on their lower spec bikes, but I rode a Scott Genius (£4.5k) on the enduro loop and then this morning a Scott Addict (£5k) on the motor race circuit – a lovely way to loosen up the legs on a Sunday morning!”

Another demo rider commented: “The demo loop was a laugh especially the northshore type obstacles in the woods. BikeRadar as a whole was great and I’ll definitely be back next year.”
