The 2013 BikeRadar Most Wanted Awards will soon be drawing to a close. Almost 10,000 people have already cast their vote for the most desirable bike gear in the world, and by doing so they’re in with a shout of winning one of the featured products.
Voting closes on Thursday 29 August, and as the competition winds up we’re highlighting a couple of the biggest categories with the best kit. We’ve already gone into detail on the sportive/gran fondo bikes shortlist, so here’s something for the mountain bikers.
Consumer appetite for trail mountain bikes is insatiable – they’re feathery enough for long rides and tough enough to give downhill sections a real thrashing. It’s no wonder, then, that we’ve seen an abundance of top quality machines from the class’ biggest players recently.
