BikeRadar has won the BikeBiz award for Consumer Website for the second year running.

The awards, which were staged amid tight security at the Cycle Show in London on Thursday night, recognise the best achievements in the UK cycling industry over the past year. They're hosted by trade magazine BikeBiz and are judged by over 50 members of the industry.

BikeRadar editor Jeff Jones says: "BikeRadar is a massive team effort that draws on not just the talents of the immediate website staff but of Future's entire sports division. It wouldn't be possible without contributions from Mountain Biking UK, Cycling Plus, What Mountain Bike, Procycling, Triathlon Plus and Cyclingnews.com."

There were 10 award categories, and the only company to pick up multiple awards were distributors Madison, who won Distributor: Bikes and Marketing Team. They were also nominated for Distributor: Parts & Accessories but that gong went to Zyro.

On the retail side, London's Condor Cycles won Independent Retailer, Wiggle won Online Retailer and Evans Cycles were voted best High Street Chain. Finally, Charge won the Manufacturer award, beating the likes of Giant and Cannondale.

Launched in July 2007 we've seen our traffic grow to over 1.5m monthly unique visitors and 14.2m page views (July 2009 figures), and it shows no signs of slowing down.
