Boardman bikes, up until now only sold through Halfords stores, will be available to buy online from 19 May.
The bikes, designed by three-time Tour de France yellow jersey wearer Chris Boardman, will be available to buy from Halfords.com and will be delivered to you fully built up after undergoing a safety inspection.
Since it was launched in 2007, the Boardman range – which takes in everything from flat bar commuting machines to full-suspension mountain bikes and high-end carbon road racers – has received positive reviews from our testers.
The Boardman Team Carbon earned a rare 5/5 from Cycling Plus, and Nicole Cooke won gold at the Beijing Olympics on a carbon Boardman Road Pro Race Prepared.
What Mountain Bike magazine reviewed the Boardman Pro full-suspension bike and claimed it was the best value all-round trail bike on the market under £2,000, while the Pro hardtail won top honours in a recent grouptest.

“Not only do customers get the convenience of home delivery of a fully built Boardman bike but they also get access to Halfords stores and in-store experts – all Boardman customers are entitled to a free six-week safety check if they take their bike into one of our 200 Boardman stores.”
