The SoCal Interscholastic Cycling League is having its CycleFest 2009 fundraising dinner on the Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach, California on November 21, with former racer and current television commentator Bob Roll as special guest and host.

Roll, a California native, is a former professional cyclist, racing with the 7-Eleven Cycling Team in the mid 1980s. Later in his career Roll switched to mountain bike racing for Greg LeMond's Z team before racing for Softride/Otis Guy, competing on the professional circuit for eight years, retiring in 1998. Roll Raced in eight World Championships in both road racing and mountain biking.

Tickets are on sale and cost US$150. Patron tickets, which include preferred seating and special gifts, are US$195.
