American mountain bike legend Brian Lopes has confirmed he will return to BikeRadar Live at Brands Hatch on 10-11 July to compete in the MBUK Eliminator dual slalom.
The four-time world champion and six-time World Cup champion will race against the world’s best including Steve Peat, Gee and Dan Atherton, Scott Beaumont and Michael Prokop.
Dual slalom is one of Lopes’ favourite disciplines. His competitive nature always brings out the best in the other racers, ensuring an awesome display of riding skills for the crowd. At last year's BikeRadar Live MBUK Eliminator, he finished second behind Gee Atherton in a nail-biting final.
Lopes said: "I'm really looking forward to coming back to BikeRadar Live this year. After such a great event last year and with the track being once again built by Will Longden, I know 2010 will be even that much better. Hopefully I can bring some of that California sunshine with me again. See you guys this summer!"
