A new titanium version of Brodie’s classic long-travel hardtail, the Holeshot, will soon be available in the UK through Progressive Bikes.

Developed in Vancouver on some of the most hardcore trails in the world, the Holeshot is built to take a 140-160mm fork and has a 67.5° head angle (at 140mm), low standover clearance and a long top tube – a setup suited for aggressive riding.

The titanium version will cost £1,099 (frame only) and Progressive reckon it should build into a sub-25lb bike with a mid-weight wheel and tyre combo.

The company's Simon Wilson says: “Titanium is the perfect material for a hardtail mountain bike: it’s light, strong and has a supple ride quality that's perfect for rugged conditions. With all the success we’ve had with the aluminium version, we now have three more additional frames/bikes offered in Ti!”

According to progressive bikes, the demo titanium holeshot hits the scales at under 25 lbs with a mid-weight wheel and tyre combo.: - Brodie
