If you're in the market for a high-end city bike that no one else has, then the new Budnitz No. 3F might just be the ride for you. Established by Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz, Budnitz specializes in luxury titanium commuter bikes. The No. 3F represents a materials departure into steel — with a more reasonable price tag to match.
At $2,800/£1,723, the No. 3F is not cheap, but it is still substantially less than the signature titanium models.

As with other Budnitz bikes, the No. 3F can be purchased as a singlespeed or an 11-speed with a internally geared hub. Both come with Avid BB7 disc brakes, Paul brake levers, Yokozuna housing and Budnitz titanium seatpost, stem and handlebar.
The 29in Velocity Blunt wheels roll on 2.35in Schwable Super Moto Racing tires, which use the same rubber compound as the German tire company's top-end racing tires.
But the main story with the No. 3F is the frameset. The steel frame has Budnitz' signature split top tube and comes with either a steel or titanium Budnitz fork.
The bike comes in four sizes, and optional accessories include locking wheels skewers, alloy or wood fenders, and a Bellini brass bell.
