Carbon frame builder Calfee Design has partnered with veteran full suspension manufacturer Ellsworth to develop the Witness, a carbon tandem.

The Witness features the wrapped carbon tube construction that Calfee is known for paired with a 140mm travel Ellsworth rear end. This off-road tamdem was developed around 27.5in wheels and will retail for US$8,295. Claimed frame weight for the Witness is 4.76kg/10.5lb.

Calfee can also build the Witness around 29in wheels for a US$500 upcharge. The 29in version gets a reduction in rear suspension travel to 120mm.
