Fabian Cancellara will have the chance to win his second prologue in London this September, after he was provisionally named in the Team CSC squad for the Tour of Britain (September 9th-15th).

The world time trial champion won the London prologue of the Tour de France this July with a storming ride that put him 13 seconds clear of his nearest rival. It was his second victory in Tour prologues, having also won in 2004. And he followed it up this year by winning the third stage into Compiegne, as well as holding the yellow jersey for seven days.

Cancellara will therefore be a firm favourite for the Tour of Britain's 2.5km prologue in Crystal Palace Park on Sunday, September 9th.

The race then continues via the South East, Somerset, the West Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West before culminating in Stage 6, between Dumfries and Glasgow on Saturday, September 15th.
