We spotted a prototype at the Fort William World Cup and now suspension maestros Cane Creek have confirmed they're set to release an air-sprung version of their Double Barrel shock.

The DBair will apparently feature "twin-tube technology" and four-way adjustability (high- and low- speed compression and rebound) – in fact, Cane Creek reckon it's even more user-tunable than the super-adjustable coil version.

They describe it as "the evolution of the Double Barrel into a lighter weight shock" and claim that it's fade-free. It should also be more progressive than the coil version. At this stage Cane Creek are staying mum when it comes to finer details, although apparently it's "coming soon". Check out their Facebook page for more info.
