BikeRadar have already taken a look at Canyon’s 2014 road and mountain bike ranges, but displayed at the crazy maze that is Eurobike were further updates to their mountain bike lineup.
Spectral AL – all-new enduro bike for 2014
Canyon Spectral AL
Replacing the previous Nerve AL is an all-new aluminium model from Canyon, the Spectral AL. There’s a choice between a 130mm travel 29er version and a 140mm 650b bike. Both feature tough builds with quality Fox suspension at each end. We’re excited to swing a leg over this new enduro-ready ride.

The Canyon Nerve AL 120mm trail bike has been refreshed and will be available in both 650b and 29in wheel sizes for 2014, with the 26in version to be dropped. The frame has been subject to a total redesign, with changes made to the suspension kinematics and geometry. Plenty of builds will be on offer and we’re expecting pricing details in the next few days.
Grand Canyon CF SL series
Grand Canyon CF SL 7.9
For those on a budget, the new Grand Canyon CF SL is an alternative to the Grand Canyon CF SLX 29er. Made with a slightly different carbon layup, it will be heavier but a fair bit cheaper than its sibling. It’s available in three builds (6.9, 7.9, 8.9) with different quality specs.
