British bike luggage maker Carradice has announced a new range of its famous Super C panniers which use Rixen and Kaul Klickfix mountings to attach the bags to the racks on your bike.

Carradice describes Rixen and Kaul as “the undisputed leader in pannier-fixing innovation” and says that the new Klickfix Modul system makes attaching and removing the revamped Super C panniers “a breeze”. The rail that mounts the hooks also includes loops for a shoulder strap, making it easier to carry the panniers off the bike.

The new fixing system works with a wider range of rack sizes, though Carradice recommends its own extensive Sherpa range which includes racks that fit suspensoin mountain bikes.

What hasn’t changed with the new Super Cs is the fabric. Carradice is known for its use of cotton duck, and it’s still the company’s material of choice: waterproof, tough, self-sealing at the seams and easily reproofed.

The new Super Cs should be in stores now. Suggested retail price for the Super C rear panniers is £99.95/pair, and £74.95/pair for the front version.
