Industry rumours of Shimano Australia dropping distribution of Clif bar have rung true. Thankfully, fans of the American product won’t be left hungry, with Sydney based Velo-Vita announcing today that they are the new Australian sports distributor for the Clif bar, Shot Bloks and Shot gel products.
Clif bar is one of the most popular energy and endurance brands in the United States and Canada; making an official entrance into Australia just over a year ago. Despite their popularity in North America, Clif bar still remains relatively unknown locally.
Velo-Vita is Australia’s distributor for brands such as TIME, Deuter, Finish Line, Giordana and Serfas. Velo-Vita will continue with it’s distribution of New-Zealand based Em’s Power Cookies.
Availability of Clif bar, Shot Bloks and Shot gel to cycling, running and outdoor stores will begin in early August 2014.
