If your heels are rubbing the finish off your crankarms or chainstays, or if you just want a wider stance on your mountain bike, then the new long-spindle version of Crankbrothers’ Mallet E pedals might be for you.

The Mallet E LS uses a 5mm longer spindle, which spaces the Q-factor out to 57mm versus the 52mm stance offered by the standard Mallet E.

“The Mallet E LS is a direct result of feedback from our customers and pro riders,” said Kellen Trachy, Crankbrothers global marketing manager. “Though a majority prefer the standard 52mm q-factor of the Mallet E for it's maneuverability advantages in tight singletrack, a number of riders have asked for a wider version for increased shoe clearance and stability at speed. Now riders have the option to choose the model that meets their needs."

The Mallet E LS is available now. Retail pricing remains unchanged from the standard version at $165 / £130 / AU$260.
