Legendary Italian frame-builders De Rosa will unveil four limited edition bikes under the Sessanta Black Label, to celebrate the company’s 60th birthday.

The bikes will be shown at Eurobike (28-31 August) as well as Interbike (18-20 September), Exobici (21-23 September), The Cycle Show (26-29 September – book discounted tickets using the code BRD), Bike Motion (11-14 October), Cycle Mode (2-4 November, Tokyo and 9-10 November, Osaka) and Velofollies (17-19 January 2014).

Details on the bikes are scarce – frames will be limited to a run of 60 each, and they will reflect the range of materials the Milanese company work with, including carbon, steel, aluminium and titanium.

De Rosa were formed in 1953 by Ugo De Rosa, who built frames for some of the world’s greatest riders including Eddy Merckx, the five-time Tour de France winner. Earlier this year the company unveiled the De Rosa R848, which was their first sub-£2,000 carbon frame.
