Manchester is set to host the all-new Bike and Triathlon Show. Taking place over the weekend of 16-17 February, the event has been described by its organisers as too good to miss for any cyclist or triathlete.

The central stage of the weekend will be supported by British Cycling and will feature a number of cycling celebrities, shows and seminars, with Phoenix Riders Co on hand to perform a trials show. There will also be opportunities to test ride the latest Giant and Trek mountain bikes on a one-off course provided by Shoretrax.

A sportive will be held on the Sunday morning, starting and finishing at Manchester Central with the choice of a 46- or 77-mile route. The £30 registration to the sportive will include a ticket to the main show, with secure bike storage laid on at the venue. The sportive is being organised by Red Kite Events.

Training specialists Koolstof Coaching will also be hosting an in-depth VIP Coaching Zone, where you can get every aspect of your cycling and fitness analysed before receiving feedback and a formal training plan tailored to your needs.

A Rollapaluza Speed Challenge will also take place, the top prize being a limited edition Foffa bike for the fastest time of the weekend.

Among the entertainment and rides there'll be a whole host of exhibitors, from bike manufacturers to nutrition suppliers and clothing companies.

General admission tickets are priced at £12, with U16s entering the show free of charge. More information on the Bike and Triathlon Show can be found at www.bikeandtri.co.uk or via the Twitter feed @bikeandtri.
