Wheels from Shimano's 2012 range will be on hand for riders to test out at next week’s Forest of Dean Classic sportive.
Hoops including Dura-Ace C50 and RS80 C50 are some of the wheels in the demo. It’s open to everyone but only a certain number will get the chance, with a ballot system having the final say.
All you need to do is go to the event website, www.wheelsinwheels.com, register your details here and choose your wheelset. Successful entrants will be informed if they have wheels several days before the event, with mechanics available on the day to switch over your cassette (Shimano 10-speed only). Michelin Pro 4 tyres will be used on all test sets.
The hilly sportive, in its seventh year in 2012, takes place on Sunday 6 May over an 89-mile route through the Monmouthshire countryside.
