The second annual Dirt Wars UK, billed as Britain’s premier mountain bike dirt jump series, will kick-off at Penshurst Off Road Cycling (PORC) near Tunbridge Wells, Kent on 21 May.

Organisers say they're hoping to build on the success of last year’s inaugural series, with a bigger prize fund for Elite riders this time round. The four-event series will once again run with two categories – Elite (£25 entry) and Open/Grassroots (£20) – and is free for spectators.

Round two is scheduled for 12 June, but the venue is yet to be confirmed. Round three is set for Chicksands Bike Park, Bedfordshire on 3 July before the series culminates with the Dirt Wars UK/Redhill Extreme Dirt Weekender on 20/21 August. For more information, visit the Dirt Wars UK website.
