Russell and Dean Downing are returning to host the “Out of the Saddle – An Evening with the Downing Brothers” for a fourth year on Saturday 20 October.
Held at The Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham the night will once again feature a buffet, auction, disco and guest interviews conducted by Eurosport’s cycling commentator David Harmon.
Last year’s event saw the brothers joined by Team Sky riders Alex Dowsett and Ben Swift and Rapha Condor Sharp Directeur Sportif John Herety amongst many more. For 2012 Dean and Russell have been speaking to several riders on the recent Tour of Britain who are keen to attend the fundraiser.
Out of the Saddle is a Rotherham-based cycling club set-up by the Downings which raises money for charity through cycling as well as helping develop youngsters interest in the sport.
