A couple of weeks back we reported on Bianchi's 2008 bike range launch, a veritable fest of Celeste - but amid all that bluey green beauty it was one very red bike that turned heads... and it didn't bear the Bianchi name.

That's because Bianchi now make bikes under licence from legendary Italian motorbike manufacturer Ducati and the first road-going example is the Ducati Factory 900XR - undoubtedly the most bling bike at the Bianchi launch.

The Factory 900XR is a Bianchi patented high modulus Carbon tube to tube frameset (bonded tubes rather than a one piece monocoque), dedicated high modulus carbon fork all in Ducati Red.

The XR is built up with Easton EC90 bars and stem, a carbon EC70 post and a full Campagnolo Record drive train, and Eurus Wheels.

A special silver coloured carbon San Marco saddle sits atop an Easton EC70 post

The Saddle is a special silver carbon San Marco and the Factory look is topped off with the oh so shiny Chrome Bar tape, the range topping Factory 900XR will retail in the UK for £4300.
