Ellsworth's new Rogue Sixty is loaded with all the de rigueur enduro standards. Updates have it pushing all the right numbers and the Active Energy Efficient Suspension should ensure that this all-mountain sled can do much more than just roll with gravity.

Enduro and all-mountain, here comes Rogue Sixty

The Rogue Sixty is squarely aimed at the enduro market. The geometry hits the long, low, slack numbers right on key, the 160mm travel front and rear is the shred-ready right amount, and there are ISCG tabs holding an MRP chainguide no matter what build kit you choose.

Ellsworth's Active Energy Efficient Suspension takes care of the rear action. It's the latest iteration of Ellsworth's ICT (Instant Center Tracking) design, which Tony Ellsworth has been refining for 17 years. It's a fully active, four-bar linkage that prizes traction and efficiency on both the downs, but also the climbs, or transfer stages.

Rear-end stiffness is said to have increased thanks to the Hex Key 'Rocker Locker' which is a proprietary shock bolt and link interface to keep the rear end tracking solidly. Aiding in the quest for rear end rigidity is a hex-taper rear axle, dual row angular contact sealed bearings, and wide, machined threaded pivot bolts.

Cable routing is all internal for super clean looks, and there's also a dedicated Di2 battery port ('electronics den' or 'e-den' says Ellsworth) on the down tube.

Ellsworth Rogue Sixty pricing and availability

Four build kits, all 1x drivetrains, are on offer: SLX, XT, XTR, and X01. The only pricing to have been set at time of writing was for XT, at $6500. All other pricing, including international figures, is TBC, with Ellsworth hoping to have the Rogue Sixty available in late summer. We're looking forward to spending some proper time on one and will of course update as and when we're able.
