Endura is expanding its range of cycling clothing and accessories by offering road and mountain bike helmets for the first time. The two models – the Snype mountain bike helmet and the road Airshell will hit UK shop shelves at the end of March.

The sleek-looking road model – the Airshell – weighs a claimed 220g for the small/medium size. It will be available in four classic colour options including white, red and in the colours of the NetApp-Endura professional cycling team. At £89.99, it means the Airshell is a well priced to compete against other light offerings like the Bell Gage, Catlike Whisper, and Specialized Prevail.

The more angular mountain bike model, the Snype is £20 cheaper and features many of the same characteristics and technology as its road counterpart. It comes in at the same weight too, claims Endura.

Both helmets – available in three sizes, s/m, m/l, and l/xl feature a one-hand adjustable tightening system and the inner head ring can be fixed in one of three positions on the vertical plane too.

The helmets will come with a spare set of fast-wicking internal padding and early birds to buy will also take home a protective carry case to keep it safe.
