Entries now open for 2010 Tour d'Israel

Five days and five stages in the Holy Land

The Tour d’Israel is a new 768km, five-stage cycling event being held on 7-11 March 2010. Organisers are inviting teams of two to enter now.

The ride will head from snow-capped Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights to Eilat on the shores of the Red Sea, taking in the Galilee hills, Negev desert, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.

Riders will be split into categories based on gender and age: Men; Women; Mixed Gender; Adults, Masters and Grand Masters.

Daily ride distances will be 125km-180 km, with each pair’s ranking based on the time clocked by the slower rider.
